recipe
I heard that some of my moms friends wanted to know my cream puff recipe, so here it is.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
LEMON FILLING:
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour all at once, stirring until a smooth ball forms. Remove from the heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating until mixture is smooth.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks. Immediately split puffs and remove tops; discard soft dough from inside. Set puffs and tops aside to cool.
For filling, in a small heavy saucepan, combine the egg, sugar, lemon juice and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 5-7 minutes or until mixture is thick enough to coat a metal spoon.
Remove from the heat. Cool quickly by placing pan in a bowl of ice water; stir for 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl; press plastic wrap onto surface of filling. Chill for 1 hour or until partially set.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream and sugar until stiff peaks form; fold into lemon mixture. Fill cream puffs; replace tops.

I'm Baaack!
Hello, I'm back! It has been a long 2-3 months of procrastination, but I decided to start posting again. So to start things off, I'm going to share a really good recipe.
Individual Rice Krispie Treats
Sometimes you wan't to have a really tasty dessert like a rice krispie treat, but don't have the time it takes to make a whole batch of them. That is where the individual rice krispie treat comes in, I am sure it could be put to good uses such as a reward for obedient littles.

- Take a 1/2 tablespoon of butter and 3/4 to 1 cup of marshmallows in a bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds.
- Stir it up and add some rice krispies, then stir some more.
- (Warning! This part is messy!) Drop the mixture on a plate and mold into a square shape, sprinkles are optional.
- Put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Eat it
Also, while I was on the internet, I found a video of what Allison calls "the Japanese equivalent of The Backstreet Boys", Watch here.

My Personal News Report No.2
Today I went rollerskating with Grandpa, unfortunately Allison chose not to go, She had to be at church around 6:00 so we would have had to leave Skate Station at 3:00. Today at Skate Station I learned how to cross my legs while turning backwards (now I can skate backwards really fast, ZOOM!) so I am really excited to show Allison when we go skating on Thursday. In other news, Sophia can now scootch/crawl forward... and really fast too, which has introduced the "where's Sophia? game" to our house.

The "Pancake Profile" no.1
Thankfully my cold that I talked about in my previous post only lasted a couple days, and now I will tell you all how to make nicely shaped pancakes *applause*.
First, TURN ON THE STOVE, electric gridles are optional and actualy work better because larger work spaces are easier to work with.
Then, take a spoon full of your favorite batter, I advise you to make the plain pancakes for the people who dont like toppings first and then add the toppings to your big bowl, but back to bussiness, take a spoonfull of batter, about this much and wipe the drips of the bottom.
Then make an outline of your Fancy-Shmancy pancake, but only make a thin outline(remember, this side you see here is a mirror image of the side that has the picture)
Then, fill in the pancake outline with batter, but be careful, like with a coloring book, try not to go outside the lines.

Once it is ready to be flipped, flip your pancake over very carfully especially if you have a larger picture like a monkey or a car.
And here is the finished product, I like to make special pancakes for my little siblings so they will eat, I make cars for Isaac and Allison and Genevive like my monkeys.

My Personal News Report
Welcome to my 1st news report, today was the 16th anniversary of happily married couple,
Eric & Lisa G, so to kick this day off I made a special heart shaped pancake for mom. Currently I am stuck in scenic burning hot/freezing cold, Jon's room. I am currently wrapped up in a really thick comfiter and my head is burning and my body is freezing. Now let's look out the window, It is really shaky/blurry and I wont be able to find "down" until the floor finds it for me...
Well I'm going to pass-out in bed, Bye!
Ps. My next Report will tell you how to make nicely shaped pancakes.

And Another Week Flies Bye
This past week has been great, on Thursday Allison and I went to Skate Station with Grandpa and played extreme tag. We got so many people playing that we didn't even know all their names! On Saturday we played tag again but then we only had 5 people playing. Although we only had 5 people, we had a lot of fun and one of our new friends made up a dance to the song "Break Out" and she taught it tous and when we started doing her dance, people started lining up and dancing beside us! On Sunday, Guess who turned 5! Thats right, Genevieve turned 5 and we had a nice little family party, She got all sorts of stuff such as a new, some video games and sea monkeys. On Monday, Genevieve, Isaac and I went to Chuck E. Cheese's with Grandma G and Genevieve won a full 41 more tickets than me! Also, for my schoolwork I have to do an architecture project, so I am going to make a whole little town... out of paper. Here are some Pics

My Week So Far...
On Sunday Allison and I had a great time with Grandma G, She took us to the Imax. We got to see "Harry Potter and The Order of the Pheonix". It was an awsome movie, First of all the screen is massive, it makes you feel like your in the movie because the screen is 4 stories tall and 80 feet wide! As for the movie, the special effects were spectacular and the new characters were exactly how I imagined them (except for Tonks and Kingsley who played very short roles). They made Miss Dolores Umbrige evil and Luna Lovegood very, well, erm... strange. Then we went to golden corral.
On Monday we went to the park, it was kinda boring, I spent at least half the trip running back and forth to and from the car. But I didn't miss much. After that we dropped "The Littles" of at Grandma Glasnapp's house and got some peace and quiet at home.
So far, nothing that remarkable has happened today.
