My Week in 60 Seconds

I had a good week. On Saturday I went skating as usual for 4 hours, I am learning to skate on my front wheels only. Right before the skate station races I drank a whole can of Full Throttle and another can once I got home (soda machine gave me a freebie) And I spent the night bouncing off the walls! Then at 4:30 in the morning I passed out while watching leave it to beaver. On Sunday I had to sit through a very long and monotonous meeting about all the details of my upcoming Confirmation classes, at least they had free pizza and watermelon. On Monday we had a "SUPER CLEANING DAY"! We cleaned the entire front half of the house sometimes I wonder how we manage to make such a mess in just a couple of days. On Tuesday (yesterday) we had water fun day at P.E and we played all sorts of games, like a sponge marathon where we had to fill a sponge with water and run about 15 feet to our bucket, empty the sponge into the bucket and run back to our team to pass on the sponge, us men beat the girls team twice in the sponge marathon and in the squirt gun marathon, where it was like the sponge marathon except we were given these squirt swords. Then our P.E teacher decided we were "mature" enough to play a game of Duck, Duck, Goose. Today, I woke up and did my schoolwork, then I ate breakfast and came upstairs to my room to write this extremely long post and I just realized that I don't really have Anything left to write and I am questioning why I have not ended my post yet. Bye.

A Very Short Day

Today was very short, This morning for school I did my math and studied Japanese, I studied on speaking and writing japanese, I learned two more Kana (A.K.A. letters), also, I do web design for my schoolwork, I have been making a website for my Grandpa Smith's subdivision. Unfortunately I can't post a link to the website yet but I will as soon as I get it up and running.
Today, we also went to Publix to do our weekly grocery shopping, now that was hard task, we have to buy so much food that we needed two carts to get the food to our car O.o
I can't think of anything else to write about so here are some pictures of my most recent drawings.

Another Post

Greetings from scenic my room, I am currently blogging as my little sister is trying to kick my door down. But locking Genevieve out is the only way I can get some peace and quiet. Now, I have been learning Japanese for my schoolwork and I am learning to draw Manga (Japanese comic book style). Today for my schoolwork I got to do some cooking, I made bacon, eggs and Biscuits, I did my math and I got to spend an hour drawing. I think I did good in school today, well time to let Genevieve back in, Bye.

Burgers

Now that's what I call a hamburger! As promised I am posting a picture of "The Ultimate Bacon-Mushroom Cheeseburger" A.K.A. "The Perfect Krabby Patty"

  • 4 Slices of bacon
  • 1/4 Cup of olive oil
  • 4 Medium portabello mushrooms about 4 inches in diameter each
  • Black pepper
  • 4 Hamburger Patties
  • 4 Slices of the cheese of your choice, I used American Cheese
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 4 Crisp lettuce leaves
  1. In a large saute pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, about 10-12 minutes. Remove the bacon and set on a paper towel to drain. Save the bacon fat in the pan and add the olive oil.
  2. Remove and discard the mushroom stems. clean the caps with a most paper towel and, using a spoon, scrape out the black gills from inside the caps. Generously brush them with the bacon fat oil mixture. Season with pepper.
  3. Dethaw your hamburger patties or make your own, Season both sides of your patties with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the 4 burgers and mushrooms to your liking, you must grill the mushrooms for as long as you brill the patties. during the last minute or two, add a slice of cheese to each of the patties and let the cheese melt. During the last 30 seconds grill the buns until lightly toasted.
  5. Serve warm with each burger topped with a patty, a mushroom, a leaf of lettuce and condiments of your choice.
